The incident took place on December 29 in Ogun State, Nigeria, while Joshua was traveling along the Lagos-Ibadan expressway. Reports state that the Jeep carrying the boxer collided with a stationary truck in the Makun area, to which Joshua was a passenger in the vehicle at the time.
