Lego has officially set its sights on Yu-Gi-Oh!, revealing a new collaboration that will see the iconic card-collecting game transformed into brick form for the first time.
Announced on February 3 via an official press release, Lego confirmed that it is launching a product ideas challenge centered on Yu-Gi-Oh! Duel Monsters.
Fans have the chance to design builds inspired by the storylines from the popular anime series, with the most popular scenarios being made into an official set.

“It’s Time To Duel! And it’s also time to design!” the company said. “To celebrate the incredible world of Yu-Gi-Oh!, we invite you to believe in the heart of the bricks and showcase your favorite moments from the anime, Yu-Gi-Oh! Duel Monsters using LEGO Bricks!”
The challenge calls for display models of duelists, signature monsters, dioramas recreating famous battles, and creative monster showcases that capture the energy of the series.
To take part, entries need a minimum of 400 pieces, cannot exceed 2,000, and must focus on Battle City or Duelist Kingdom tournament arcs from the Yu-Gi-Oh! Duel Monsters anime.
The Yu-Gi-Oh! Lego collab would mark one of the franchise’s most notable anime-themed crossovers, and comes hot off the newly revealed Pokémon collaboration and the upcoming The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time set.
