YouTube star Airrack has come under fire following a new prank where he hired actors to ‘arrest’ streamers while live.
Airrack has made quite a name for himself on YouTube for a number of daring prank videos, including ones where he hides in the background of streams, waiting to be found out by the streamer or their viewers.
On September 8, he ramped things up a notch by launching a new prank on streamers Maya and FaZe Adapt. Airrack hired multiple actors to ‘arrest’ the streamers while live, with them pretty much acting out a swatting situation.
After a few minutes of them talking on stream, the police led the two streamers away before the YouTuber appeared. “Hey, if you’re out there and you’re a live streamer, you’re not safe, bro. I’m coming for everyone,” Airrack said.

Maya and Adapt returned to the stream shortly after, with Maya noting that she had been made aware of what was happening beforehand.
“I’m sorry, I didn’t know it was going to be that real. That was so scary,” she said as Adapt was “tripping out” about it.
“I knew that was going to happen and I knew I had to do a good job, but I didn’t want to do too good of a job because I knew you guys would feel really bad for me,” she added, apologizing to viewers.
QTCinderella blasts Airrack over prank
However, other creators didn’t take it too kindly. “Not to be this guy but this s*it isn’t f*cking funny @airrack,” QTCinderella posted on X (formerly Twitter.)
“I got diagnosed with CPTSD from swatting. Sobbed as I watched my friends get held at gun point. Lost my cat from police busting open doors. Feared for my life with sniper rifles pointed at me. Explain the joke? This s*it still happens everyday. It’s horrifying. People have died. Like what the f*ck.”
Another streamer, Razlol, added: “I just don’t understand the s*it people see as content anymore.”
Viewers weren’t sure about it either. “Did whoever plan this think “the viewers will find this hilarious!”? Anyone with common sense knows this is in bad taste at best,” one said.
“Dudes gonna do this to the wrong person. Does not seem like a smart gimmick,” another added.
