Twitch star ‘Agent’ has become the first live streamer to broadcast himself in the North Pole for 24 hours straight after failing his first attempt, and he’s already got plans for his next big challenge.

The streaming game has come a long way since the days of JustinTV. Now, the net’s biggest broadcasters are sharing their trips across the globe in real-time or forcing themselves to get through a video game without stopping for days on end.

Given the success of Kai Cenat’s Mafiathon streams and IShowSpeed’s viral tours around the world, more and more influencers are stepping up their content to compete, and it seems like Agent is one of them.

In December 2025, Agent revealed that he was going to spend 24 hours straight in the North Pole… but his arctic adventure didn’t go as planned.

“I’m gonna give it my best shot,” he told his viewers. “But the more research I’m doing, the scarier it gets.”

He officially made the trip on December 23. Things started off just fine, with Agent even capturing the brilliance of the Northern Lights on camera, but the extreme temperatures and multiple stream snipers who had somehow managed to find him in the wilderness put a stop to things halfway through.

In total, Agent only lasted about 10 hours in the blistering cold, which measured from -25 to -40 degrees Fahrenheit (−31.7°C to −40°C).

“I think I came in very underprepared,” he admitted. “As much as I would love to thug out the cold, what I’m more disappointed by is the fact that I don’t know who could show up at night, gang.”

Agent finally survives 24 hrs in North Pole after first attempt fails

Despite this setback, Agent was determined to make good on his promise to fans and go through with his challenge. He returned to the North Pole a month later, and this time, he persevered for the total 24 hours.

The streamer ended his broadcast on the morning of January 27, 2026, surviving temperatures as low as -45°F (-42°C).

“I know at times you probably doubted me,” a triumphant Agent boasted. “But I did the work. I watched videos. I studied what I needed to, and we made it, bro. We succeeded.”

Despite the grueling conditions of the frigid outdoors, Agent isn’t through with his self-imposed survival challenges. In fact, the streamer revealed that he plans on doing another 24-hour broadcast in the rainforests of the Amazon for his next big project.

Agent’s life-threatening stream is just one of numerous wild endeavors undertaken by content creators. For instance, YouTube icon MrBeast buried himself alive for two days in 2021, recording himself underground the entire time in one of the most over-the-top experiments he’s done in his career.
