Adin Ross defended QTCinderella over backlash from The Streamer Awards nominees, and revealed that he isn’t hosting a Kick version now.

For years, streamers and content creators called for more representation at awards shows. So, in 2022, QTCinderella started up The Streamer Awards, and it has only gotten bigger every year.

With the end of 2025 in sight, this year’s show is starting to take shape, with QT revealing the nominees on November 17. However, the list of nominations came under fire, with claims that they aren’t actually fan-voted and that some “problematic” streamers end up being blacklisted, despite their popularity.

“It’s just so frustrating. I’m doing my f***ing best over here. I’m just so tired. I’m tired of crying,” QT said, tearing up over the backlash.

Adin Ross scraps Kick awards show

Well, Adin Ross, who had planned to host a Kick version of the show with Asmongold, stepped in to defend QT over things. However, also revealed that his show won’t be going ahead.

“I do feel bad for QTCinderella though, I ain’t gonna lie. The reason I feel so bad for QTCinderella is because she’s getting pressure from her sponsors to choose pre-selected people, most likely,” he said.

“Allegedly. That’s what I’ve been hearing. Everyone is mad at her, she’s breaking down, and I feel her, bro. She’s not going to make everyone happy. Twitch really needs to be the one throwing the show.”

Adin revealed that he had spoken to Kick boss Eddie Craven over their version, but scrapped it because he wouldn’t fund the event.

“Eddie does not want to cover the Kick awards s*it anymore, so we are not doing my version of it anymore,” Ross added. “It’s going to cost a lot of money, so I’m not going to pay out of my pocket for that.”

Adin left the door open if things get “figured out” over the funding. “He’s got to pay the whole thing, just being real,” the streamer concluded.

QT had been supportive of Adin and Asmongold’s rival show, noting that they could have a “unique product” of their own with different categories.
