Kick streamer Adin Ross has sparked comparisons to Asmongold after revealing that he hadn’t showered in two days and doesn’t view daily baths as necessary.

Prominent Twitch streamer Asmongold is somewhat infamous for his alleged lack of hygiene and cluttered living conditions. For example, the influencer says he once used the stench from the corpse of a dead rat as an alarm clock, and joked that he was “beginning to evolve” after not showering for three months and growing an “exoskeleton” of dead skin on his body.

While other streamers have sparked disgust from viewers for revealing their own cleanliness habits (or lack thereof) in the past, Adin Ross is the latest target of disbelief after he revealed how long he went between showers in a January 2026 broadcast.

Adin Ross grosses out viewers after saying daily showers aren’t realistic

Ross gave his viewers ‘the ick’ after joking that it had been six days since he last showered. He quickly claimed that he was just kidding, revealing that he actually hadn’t showered in two days.

That in itself isn’t what’s making fans grossed out, though. Ross went on to challenge his viewers that it’/s unrealistic to expect everyone to shower every single day, arguing that it isn’t always necessary to clean up if you haven’t gotten sufficiently dirty.

“Can I just be honest with you guys? There is no f**king way that you guys shower ever f**king day,” he told his chat. “I don’t believe it. I’m sorry.

“That, to me, is the biggest lie ever. And I get it, because you guys are on stream, you’re 6’5” with eight-packs… the reality is, you do not shower every day. That’s bullsh*t. The only time I will say people shower every day is if they’re getting in the ocean or a chlorine pool.

“But if you’re just outside or you’re just chilling in bed, you’re not showering every f**king day.”

Users were quick to clown Ross on social media, with one writing on X, “Dude has all the free time he wants, but can’t shower?”

“I have showered once a day pretty consistently my entire life,” another said.

“That’s still 180 times more a year than Asmon,” another joked.

Other streamers have also raised eyebrows after discussing their bathing routines; earlier in January, Emiru got flak online after revealing that she only takes baths and refuses to shower, saying that she’ll sometimes take multiple baths a day to avoid feeling dirty.

And in 2022, Twitch streamer Fuslie got a humorous care package from Dove after admitting that she didn’t scrub her body when she showers, but instead allowed the suds from her shampoo to trickle down and do the work on their own.
