Pebbles cereal is launching a pop-up tour that lets fans swap stones for cereal at select Walmart locations this month.
The Pebbles Pay Tour will stop in four cities, where attendees can exchange a handful of pebbles, rocks, or stones for a free box of Fruity Pebbles or Cocoa Pebbles. No other currency will be accepted during the one-day events, which run from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. while supplies last.
Tour dates and locations include:
- Rock Hill, South Carolina – September 8, Walmart Supercenter #585
- Bentonville, Arkansas – September 12, Walmart Supercenter #100
- Little Rock, Arkansas – September 14, Walmart Supercenter #7
- Round Rock, Texas – September 17, Walmart Supercenter #5480
What to expect at the Pebbles Pay Tour
Each stop will feature outdoor pop-ups in Walmart parking lots, with photo opportunities, colorful signage, and cereal giveaways. Fans are limited to one free box per person and must be 18 or older to participate.
After the events, all collected rocks will be donated to local parks and recreation departments in the participating cities.
Pebbles Sr. Brand Manager Ali Shater said the campaign is designed to spark nostalgia and bring “unexpected joy” to fans during the back-to-school season.
This isn’t the first unique thing Fruity Pebbles has done in 2025, either. Back in July, they partnered with sparkling water company Liquid Death to create cereal-flavored water.
