A cow has quickly become a rising star on Twitch as thousands of eager fans flock to feed her and watch the four-legged streamer go about her day.
Winnie, a Red Angus cow who lives at Alveus Sanctuary, has her own interactive broadcast where viewers can donate to activate her automatic feeder, instantly dropping treats into her trough.
Clips of Winnie mooing directly at the live cams, as if demanding chat to cough up donations, have quickly gone viral.
The moment her feeder whirs, she rushes over to her feeder and chows down on the goodies that have been sent her way. Winnie wasn’t always a barnyard mukbang star, though.
Winnie the cow is a viral star
She originally came from a cattle operation in Oklahoma and now serves as an ambassador for the beef industry, helping Alveus teach audiences how consumer choices can impact the environment.
Alveus Sanctuary’s Twitch channel has built up more than 310,000 followers, with Winnie fast becoming one of its biggest stars. Beyond streaming, she even has her very own plushy for sale, with proceeds supporting the sanctuary.
Alveus was founded by Twitch star Maya Higa, who provides permanent homes to dozens of rescued animal ambassadors and runs 24/7 educational streams.
The Donations through Winnie’s channel don’t just fuel her snack breaks either, they also support feed, vet bills, and habitat upkeep across the sanctuary.
And in case anyone’s worried, Maya herself clarified on social media: “Just so everyone knows these are just treats for Winnie and she absolutely gets fed every day in addition to this.”
On a platform filled with high-energy gaming, speedruns, and IRL streams, Winnie has carved out a niche by simply being a cow.
