Minecraft YouTuber GrammaCrackers broke down thanking supporters after they raised over $40,000 to help with her grandson’s cancer treatment.
In 2024, Sue Jacquot launched a YouTube channel after discovering Minecraft, using the platform to support her grandson after he was diagnosed with Sarcoma Cancer.
Her channel, GrammaCrackers, has since grown to more than 300,000 followers after going viral on social media earlier in 2026.
While her grandson, Jack, is now cancer-free, he’s continuing to see a doctor throughout his remission, and GrammaCrackers is still pumping out YouTube videos.
The GoFundMe linked beneath her videos has generated nearly $50,000 at the time of writing, and that’s not including the money she’s made from her channel as a whole.
On January 19, Jacquot shared a tearful update for her fans and thanked them from the bottom of her heart for their support.

In a statement, the 81-year-old fought back tears, telling supporters that their “help is unbelievable.”
“I can’t fathom what you’re doing. It’s beyond my comprehension. I will be streaming this week. My daughter, Jack’s mom, will be coming in to make an appearance along with Jack.”
Jacquot also thanked fans for creating a coin for her, which had reportedly raised over $75,000 in a single day for her. While she couldn’t really comment on the crypto situation, she was still grateful.
“You’re dedicating stuff to my family. That is just incredible. And I really appreciate it so very, very much. Thank you so much!” she exclaimed.
The grandma, who specializes in Minecraft videos, only got into the game as a way to connect with her grandson, as he was in the hospital. She was able to get the hang of it rather quickly, impressing the rest of the family.
Now, that decision to try out Minecraft is paying dividends. In an update to the GoFundMe, Austin, her other grandson, echoed his grandmother’s sentiments.
“Your generosity has been helping relieve the pressure of extensive medical bills and keeping us afloat during uncertain times. The biggest blessing we’ve received has been Jack’s improving health as he is in remission. He continues to fight every day getting stronger and healthier amid ever continuing doctor’s visits and follow ups,” he beamed.
“It is hard to express through words how grateful we are as a family. Thank you for your continued support as we try to find our new normal. Your generosity does not go unnoticed. Thank you.”
